Who usually writes in

  • Dental groups with a new patient portal
  • Accounting firms before tax season
  • SaaS founders holding a SOC 2 questionnaire
  • Nonprofits renewing cyber insurance

If you’re not sure you belong on that list, write anyway — telling you honestly that you don’t need us yet is part of the job.

Tell Me About Your Setup

Three or four lines is plenty: how many people you have, the systems you lean on, and what’s nudging you — an audit date, a client’s security questionnaire, an insurance renewal, or just a bad feeling. I’ll reply with two or three times for a call.

Domains and headcount are welcome here. Passwords, IP allow-lists and vulnerability details are not — we open an encrypted channel once the scope letter is signed.

Ways to reach me

Which Line to Use, Depending on What’s Going On

A quick “is this something you do?” deserves a phone call. A forty-question vendor assessment deserves an email with the attachment. Here’s how I’d pick, if I were on your side of the desk.

After you hit send

What Happens in the Week After You Write

I keep this part short on purpose. Most owners come to us between other fires, so the path from first note to a signed scope letter fits inside a normal working week.

  1. Today

    You Write a Few Lines

Headcount, the systems you run, and what’s nudging you. Rough is fine — half-remembered is fine.

  2. Within 1 working day

    I Reply Myself

Two or three times for a call, plus any questions I need answered first so we don’t spend the call on basics.

  3. Your pick of slot

    A Free 30-Minute Scoping Call

Phone or video, daytime or evening. Bring whoever looks after your IT. We decide what’s worth testing — and what isn’t.

  4. Within 3 working days

    A One-Page Scope Letter

Targets, testing windows, emergency contacts and a fixed fee. The number on the letter is the number on the invoice.

  5. When you’re ready

    You Sign, or You Don’t

No drip campaign, no “just circling back.” If the timing’s wrong, scope and fee hold for 60 days.

Fees are paid half at kickoff and half when the report lands — the same terms on every engagement, from the $3,900 First Look to Audit-Ready.

The office

Find Us on West 137th Street

Evanti works out of a Harlem office on West 137th, between Lenox and Adam Clayton Powell. Most of our testing happens remotely, but kickoffs, scope-letter signings and findings readouts are welcome here. Come by appointment and I’ll put the kettle on.

Come up on Lenox, walk two blocks north and turn left onto 137th.

  • 135 St on St Nicholas

A longer walk east along 135th — worth it if you’re coming from the West Side.

  • By appointment only

Call or email ahead so someone’s in. We’ll come down and meet you at the door.

Worth knowing

A Few Honest Notes Before You Hit Send

If it’s happening right now

We’re Testers, Not a 24-Hour Breach Hotline

I’d rather tell you that here than at 2am. If you think someone is inside your systems today, call your cyber-insurance carrier’s breach line first — most policies require it before you bring anyone else in. Then call me during office hours at (718) 403-9242 and I’ll help you work out what to ask your responders for.

Keep secrets out of the form

Tell Me the Shape, Not the Keys

“Forty laptops, Microsoft 365, a customer portal on AWS” is exactly right. Admin passwords, VPN configs and anything you suspect is a vulnerability wait until the scope letter is signed and we’ve set up an encrypted channel.

Who to bring

Invite Whoever Looks After Your IT

If you use a managed-service provider, bring them onto the scoping call. Twenty minutes with the person who knows where the firewall lives saves a week of back-and-forth once testing starts — and they’ll want to know the windows anyway.

Got a questionnaire?

Forward It As-Is

The form doesn’t take attachments, so send the client’s vendor assessment or your insurer’s supplemental application straight to info@joinevanti.com. I’ll mark which questions a test answers, which a policy answers, and which you can already tick today.

On price

Ask Me the Number on the First Call

Our fees are published, starting at $3,900 for The First Look and $9,750 for The Full Test. I’ll tell you which one fits before we hang up — and if the honest answer is “neither yet,” you’ll hear that too.

The Quickest Route Is Still a Few Lines About Your Setup

The note goes straight to me, the call is free, and you’ll know the fee before anything is tested. If today’s not the day, keep this number for when the questionnaire arrives.
